Casual Denim Jacket Look

I get more comments when wearing my denim jacket than anything else I own. Okay, that may be a little dramatic, but seriously, it’s great. If you don’t already have one, it’s time to find take the plunge. I promise you won’t regret it. Also, you can find a good and durable option at really affordable prices! Both of mine are under $50 and I have worn them both so many times. Anyway,  this outfit is super easy and you can wear it with any color sweater, making for at least 100 different outfits haha.

Hope you guys like this look and tell me if you want to see more outfits that can be worn several different ways as well as in every walk of life! Outfit deets (all price points of these items) at the bottom of this post! 🙂

Shoutout to the VERY talented Courtney Garrett for taking these pics! She’s an all star and if you’re in NWA and need ANY kind of photos, definitely reach out to her >> www.courtgphotography.com/ and follow her on Insta

10 Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Thanksgiving is NEXT week! What are you going to wear? Maybe you have a super chill day where you can wear your favorite leggings, oversized sweatshirt, and house shoes. I envy you. I mean, I guess I could do that, but my whole family comes to town and I think they would be really confused. Also, it would be documented all over social media and that would be embarrassing. I was sure to add ideas for the really dressy occasion all the way to jeans and t-shirts and everything in between!

These are some cute outfits from my three absolute favorite bloggers and each photo links to the pieces they are wearing (as well as their original posts – show some love) and other options at different price points. Oh, and I added a few pics of my favorite outfits I shared from last season that are obvi still relevant.

Casual Thanksgiving Outfits

1. Plaid button down and duck boots

Does your family do Thanksgiving on the farm? Are all the boys coming back from the woods just in time to grab lunch and go back out? Is everyone is hopping on and off four-wheelers, rangers, etc? If so, I’d go with this outfit. Cute, practical and comfortable.

In her blog post, you can see the sizing she chose. Also, in the American Eagle plaid shirt, I linked above, I got a small! If you order women’s Patagonia items, I like to size up or they will be really fitted.

2. Striped Tee & Distressed Jeans

This is my go-to for basically every walk of life. Literally, have this outfit on as I create this post haha. You can never go wrong. I do like how she added the cute neck scarf to add some variation here!

3. Casual leather leggings outfit

I am absolutely obsessed with these leather leggings. You can dress them up or down and the outfits are always so stinking cute. I have gotten a ton of compliments on these leggings when I wear them and the best part is they are actually comfortable! I love this casual look and I’d even wear it when sneakers.

4. Leggings and Cardigan

You can’t go wrong with the cozy cardigan option. I mean, throw on a loose tee, some black (v stretchy) leggings, your best cardigan and some boots and you are ready to eat your way all the way through Thanksgiving. This is the route I’m sure I’ll be talking this year (as with every other year).

Linked some good faux leather legging options, but if you are looking for plain black GREAT leggings, I cannot recommend the Align Pants from lululemon enough. I seriously want to give a pair of these to everyone I know.

Sweater & Jeans for Thanksgiving

5. Classic clean White sweater & black jeans

I have so many white sweaters, blouses, and tees in my closet because this is one of my favorite looks. Not sure what it is, but I love white tops. Maybe because they make me look tan, but also clean and put together a little bit? Idk. But can we talk about those slides she has on? That is the color I need!!!

6. Off the shoulder sweater & distressed jeans

I think everyone is well aware of the off the shoulder sweater vibes this season. I am a fan. It makes your cozy sweater look a little more dressed up. Am I right? What are thoughts on this style?

7. Tan sweater and statement booties

I am obsessed with the leopard booties. Really think I need them but I am making myself wait to really see how much I *need* them after I get everyone else’s Christmas gifts. Also, have to pay bills and things, but not that important haha.

8. Mock neck sweater & jeans

I personally LOVE the color of this sweater. And the bell sleeves? Yes, ma’am. It comes in a few other colors and I would say it’s TTS or size down. A lot of BP. brand items run a little big.

9. All black with tan booties

How cold do I look in this pic? Lmk haha. Moral of this is that you can never go wrong with all black. In my personal opinion.

10. Beanie game strong

Few things I love more than a good beanie. And the weather is finally here. I love that you can dress it up or down and this is one of my favorite looks from last season. I think I may wear this (sans beanie) to work tomorrow. Inspiring myself here.

Sale Roundup – Fall, Outerwear & Beauty

Hi! I wanted to put together a big sale roundup post for everyone. Some of these sales are actually ending today, so don’t wait!

The Sephora sale is a must. I didn’t picture any of the items above, but they are linked below. These are things I buy again and again, can’t live without. Also, a great time to stock up on gifts for your friends, sisters, and moms for Christmas! I will be posting Thanksgiving outfit ideas and gift guides this week so stay tuned!

A few things to point out…

  • The plaid shirt in the graphic is seriously SO SOFT! I got a small and I’m really excited. Also, I buy all my underwear from Aerie now. It is way better quality than Victoria’s Secret and with the sale, it is priced better. Highly recommend.
  • The white sneakers pictured are my fave white sneakers. I wore them all over Europe and they go with everything.
  • The burgundy sherpa pullover runs a little big, so be sure to size down. I got an XS!
  • All of the products I have from Sephora are linked below. I am low key (high key) obsessed with all things Anastasia brand.
All of the links in the graphic above are clickable!

Be sure to check out my recent post about my Lululemon partnership and the new store in Rogers!

ShopBop Buy More, Save More Sale

off the shoulder top with distressed levi's high waisted jeans

Hi, all! Shopbop.com has a great sale going on right now and I rounded up a few of my favorite items. Shopbop has a ton of designer brands and high-priced items, so if you have been wanting something that is expensive but not ready to make the move, now is the time. The whole site is 20% off and if you spend $500, you get 25% off! Click on the products in the photo to shop the items!

I do want to call out a few items specifically, too.

Spanx leather leggings – these are everything I have ever wanted. They are good quality, high waisted, suck you in and aren’t super long (concern for us short girls, am I right?!).

Madewell purse – you have heard me talk about this 1000 times. If you are looking for a crossbody, just get this one, you won’t regret it.

Madewell Cotton V Neck – these are the best v necks. I always order a few during this sale because they are a little cheaper.

Levis 721 jeans – Yall. These are so flattering and comfortable. Not joking. Get these. They rock.

J Brand jeans – these are splurge-worthy. They are so soft and I have had mine for 2 years and still wear them constantly. Love love love.

Below are links to my outfit in the featured image above!

Sale ends tomorrow and nothing is worse than regretting not buying something! Have a great night, everyone!

Fall Trends I’ll Be Wearing All Season

[the_ad id=”1579″]

Summertime, I hate to watch you go, but I love to watch you leave because FALL CLOTHES! I love everything about summer, except the clothes. So when fall comes back around and it’s jeans, oversized sweaters, cute boots and booties…I get crazy excited. So be ready for lots of posts coming soon.

To start, here are some of the fall trends I’ll be sporting this season!

Leather

Leather skirts, pants, bags, jackets, shoes, etc. All. Fall (and winter). Long. Fam. See below. Already wearing leather jackets in September. Can’t stop. Won’t stop.

All. Of. The. Denim.

Denim jackets, distressed denim, denim skirts, step hem, raw hem, cropped and flare. I also just love all things denim so I may be partial here but whatevs.

Slides and Mules

I bought a pair of slides (or mules? To each their own) during the anniversary sale and now I just want them all.

Skirts

I have been all about skirts lately and I plan on taking this new love all the way through the season. *bring on the self-tanner*

Chunky Sweaters

As if oversized and chunky sweaters would ever go out of style anyway. But just in case you thought they may, I’ll be wearing them 3 days a week.

Hat Game Strong

Honestly, I’ve always loved the hat trend but I’m going to man up and actually wear some this year because I usually chicken out. I really recommend trying to buy hats at your local stores and boutiques because trying to buy online gets expensive and just outright hard to do. I have grabbed a few from Fringe in Fayetteville and Riffraff!

Bold Red

I feel like as a Razorback fan, I only wear red during football season. But bold red is IN this year, guys. Hop on the bandwagon..I’ll be there.

Ruffles and Peplum

Never ever in my life did I think I would be into this trend, but here I am. Don’t worry though, I like to add in other pieces to kind of distract from the girliness of the ruffles. But that is just me. You can style this trend however you’d like!

Statement Earrings

Honestly, I don’t think I’ve worn earrings in YEARS until recently and I have bought a ton and worn them every single day. I have found some cheaper versions, too. I love the Sugarfix brand by Bauble Bar at Target!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Restocked & Favorite Items

Hi, everyone! If you have talked to me in the past few weeks, you know I have been spending my entire life savings on things in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. BUT, I have been saving for this and these products on sale are all NEW items. While other stores mark down things they want to get rid of, Nordstrom marks down all these new things which is just CRAZY. And if you don’t take advantage of it, you’re missing out!

Anyway, below are some things I have actually bought and can review for real! Then down at the bottom, you’ll see a graphic of items that are back in stock and are not to be missed.

1. Halogen Corbin Slide Loafer

Order 1/2 to a full-size up (photo: LivvyLand) I wasn’t sure if I would like these but I am pretty obsessed and actually mad I didn’t get them in the black suede and leopard!

2. AG The Legging Step Hem Jeans

I wasn’t crazy about these because of the low rise and the paint distressing on them so I sent them back. Very soft jeans and I love the hem, but not for me. (photo: EmilyAnnGemma)

3. Citizens of Humanity Rocket High Waist Skinny Jeans

These jeans are SO flattering, soft and wonderful! I put them on and really did not want to take them off. They’re a little long, so I will either get them altered or cut them for a raw hem. (photo: The Sweetest Thing Blog)

4. AG The Legging Raw Hem Ankle Skinny

I sent these back as well. They are basically low rise jeans and I cannot stand that. I was really expecting to like the AG jeans after all the hype over them but I was not impressed at all (Photo: The Dani Austin)

5. Dreamers by Debut Cardigan

I ordered this in a Medium because that is all they had left and I was not a fan of the fit (plus it was wayyy over sized) but the material was pretty soft and the color was great. (Photo: Brighton The Day)

6. SPANX Faux Leather Leggings

I wanted these last season and the first time I ordered them from the sale, they emailed me and canceled the order…I was devastated. So as soon as they came back in stock, I snagged them. Really stoked about these! (Photo: The Dani Austin)

7. BP. Pocket Tee

I ordered this right away because I knew it’d sell out. And it did. There are a few colors/sizes left though and it’s a great basic! (Photo: Brighton The Day)

8. Lush Split Side V neck tee

I bought this in 3 colors because again, such a great basic. It has come in and out of stock several times, so I would keep an eye out. I got a small and would usually buy a medium in tees like this but small is perfect! (Photo: Style Cusp)

9. Barefoot Dreams Cardigans

You guysssss, these are SERIOUSLY the softest cardigans in the world. They seriously feel like butter haha. Highly recommend. I bought XS/S in both the hooded and circle version of these (in and out of stock – so stay on top of them). You will wear this over and over again, promise. (Photo: Style Cusp)

10. Sam Edelman Prentice Convertible Ankle Bootie

I bought these in the black suede (TTS) kind of expecting not to really like them but I am obsessed! I have been wanting Sam Edelman booties for a while and these are the perfect transition. (no picture here, sorry, couldn’t really find a good one and didn’t feel like taking one!)

Click the photos in the image below to take you to the products! If this post persuades your purchase at all, I would appreciate if you use one of my links to make the purchase! 🙂 Thanks!
